Clean, approved U.S. flag tanker (Jones Act) or barge capable of carrying 235,000 bbls (29,578 lt) (intentions jp8), clean petroleum product. A barge can lift the 235,000 bbls in 3 separate lifts. Tanker must have sbt and igs. Vessel must be bp vetted. Vessel must arrive at load port in clean, gas-free condition and be ready for internal tank inspection by quality assurance representative. Contractor shall provide (owner's account) a certified marine chemist to certify tanks safe for entry for internal tank inspection by government / charterer representative. If a prior (last and next to last cargo) cargo contained a percentage of benzene, ownerââ¬â¢s certified marine chemist must also measure toxicity for benzene content and certify safe for entry.
