Notice of intent to make a sole source award. Under a separate contract, Boehringer Ingleheim, formerly Merial, has provided Vaccine Antigen Concentrate (VAC) for European foot and Mouth Disease. Under this previous contract, onsite storage costs were paid annually. These costs have now been rolled into the item costs. A modification to the original contract is not feasible due to the purchase of Merial by Boehringer. This one time order will settle all VAC storage costs until the end of their shelf life. Any future orders for VAC will include their storage costs up front.

Total price for this action covering 15 Million doses = $563,500.00
