The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOAC), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Tryco Inc, 6736 Old Mclean Village Drive, Mclean, VA 22101, for a purchase of the Vaser Handpiece. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which a permit other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Governments intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 334510. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Anticipated award date is 9 Feb 2016. The requirement will consist of: CLIN 0001: Vaser Handpiece Description of Supplies to be delivered on CLIN 0001 VHP – Handpiece, quantity 4 THE NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200pm CST on 4 Feb 2016 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes.
