In support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Pilot Project to establish the Los Angeles Air Force Base as the first 100% PEV military installation, the U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) is requesting information regarding  vehicle availability from any potential supplier of Electric and Electric Extended Range Vehicles with Vehicle to Grid (V2G)capability, as well as sources that can provide up fit or conversion services of existing  vehicle models  to incorporate  (V2G) capability.  The objective of this pilot program is to replace general purpose fleet vehicles with plug-in electric vehicles, including fully-electric, plug-in hybrid electric, and extended-range electric vehicles.  To the fullest extent feasible, the PEV vehicles will be power grid-integrated to generate value through grid ancillary services, such as frequency regulation and peak shaving.
