The purpose of this amendment is to provide the following clarifications to the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs):

CLARIFICATIONS TO MINIMUM ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS (MECs):
1) MEC #5 - "Shall be equipped with stainless steel automatic watering that will connect to Edstrom Watering System." Clarification: The rodent housing system shall be equipped with the Edstrom automatic watering system, A-160 Series, with quick disconnect valves;
2) MEC #10 - "External water bottles shall be provided for each cage." Clarification: Water bottles shall be provided that allow for the changing or refilling of the water bottles without requiring the opening of the cage lid or removing the cage from the rack.

The hour and date specified for the receipt of offers has been extended from 3:00 PM CST, 12 January 2016 to 3:00 PM CST, 15 January 2016.
