The Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals (OMHA), through the Program Support Center, Division of Acquisitions Managements, intends to award a sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures to Courtroom Connect, 4488 N Shallowford Road, Suite 120, Atlanta, GA 30338-6413. The purpose of this contract is to provide facilities, equipment and services support on an as needed pre-scheduled basis for the Irvine Field Office. The contractor shall provide some or all of the facilities, equipment, and services may be required for any given conference: Conference Rooms; Video teleconferencing and audio conferencing equipment, including hybrid video/audio capability; Onsite operational support; Point to point telecommunications connectivity; ISDN/IP Conversion; The contractor shall also provide an established network of at least 100 facilities that is substantially national in scope including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The contractor shall also provide direct access to a comprehensive listing of the facilities locations being offered in accordance with the terms and conditions of this order. The contractor shall provide real-time telephone and/or on-line facility reservation, schedule service. The contractor shall provide OMHA with information regarding its facilities such as availability of parking, public transportation, accommodations for disabled persons, etc. as requested. Qualified personnel shall be available onsite to provide operating support prior to and during video teleconferences and audio conferences. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
