This notice of intent to sole source for the use of Guardian Centers as a contract for Georgia Army National Guard's Vigilant Guard 2017 exercise. The solicitation actually provides funding for W912JM-17-T-0204
Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 (1) Building with role players and all logistical inclusions (please see attached document to individually label each item included) as the center will better meet the overall requirements of the contract due to location and capabilities (please see PWS).
The use of Guardian Centers is essential due to the unique training, location, and qualifications being utilized in meeting this requirement.
This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source has been
identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561320. This will be a firm fixed price
contract.
The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination
by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may contact the USPFO for Georgia via e-mail at [email protected] and be considered by the government. If no responses are received by 1300 hours EST 28 February 2017, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with Guardian Centers.
