Villa Park Public Library Request for Proposal: One (1) New Sprinter Cargo Van Purpose of Request The Villa Park Public Library will be accepting sealed bids for an Outreach Van. The Vendor shall provide the van as the specifications and requirements are outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) found on the library's website at https://www.vppl.info/library-info/board-of-trustees/ Vendor shall arrange and coordinate all logistics to assist in delivery of a completed vehicle to the Library. The cargo van is to be delivered by the dealership to the Villa Park Public Library at 305 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL 60181. In lieu of additional delivery expense, Library personnel will be available to pick up the vehicle. Specifications The equipment shall be new and manufacturer's standard model in current production, including all standard features and accessories. The equipment shall meet the minimum specifications and requirements listed below. Notice: These specifications are intended to establish the class of product required, therefore, only deviations, which do not affect form, fit, or function of the equipment, will be considered and such considerations shall be at the sole discretion of the Library. Additional features may be added if included in a "package" at no cost. The Villa Park Public Library is requesting bids for one (1) 2022 or 2023 New Mercedes Sprinter Cargo Van; Class 2500; Arctic White; 144" Wheelbase High Roof; 4 Cylinder Gas Engine preferred; 4,376 lbs. Payload. Supplier to quote MSRP, dealer, and manufacturer discounts and rebates, as well as anticipated delivery date. Emphasis should be on completeness and clarity of content. -The Library reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities in the bid process. -The Library reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information from the vendor. -The Library reserves the right to award the contract to the next most qualified vendor if the successful vendor does not execute a contract within thirty (30) days of contract award date. -The Library is a governmental entity and tax exempt.
