VILLAGE OF WOODRIDGE LEGAL NOTICE - BIDS The Village of Woodridge will be accepting sealed bids for the items listed below. Bids will be accepted at the Woodridge Village Hall, Five Plaza Drive, Woodridge, until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. BID #2021-20: TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODERNIZATION AND IMPROVEMENT (WOODWARD/HILLCREST & JANES/CRABTREE) The work consists of traffic signal installation and modernization, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, replacement of concrete sidewalks/curb ramps and detectable warnings, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown in the plans for two separate sites. Plans and Specifications are available via email request sent to Matt Pocius from the Public Works Department at [email protected] between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. Bidders must be prequalified with an IDOT Certificate of Eligibility and provide a copy of certificate. Questions or clarifications to this bid will be received by the Village until 4:00pm on Wednesday December 22, 2021. All questions should be emailed to [email protected]. Any addenda issued to this bid, including answers to received questions, will be emailed to all plan holders by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2021. A Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid amount is required with the bid submittal and is to be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the Village and pay for a satisfactory performance bond. In accordance with the law and the provisions of 820ILCS 130/0.01 et seq., entitled "an Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any public works by the state, county, city or any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works", not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. The Village of Woodridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Woodridge.
