The Bureau of Public Debt (BPD), on behalf of the Alcohol & Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), intends to award a firm fixed, open market price, brand name only contract for VMware vSphere and vCenter for continuation of licenses and support. The period of performance will be for a Base Year and the right to exercise an additional 2 Option Years, for a total of 36 months. Includes:
1) VMware vSPhere 4 Enterprise Plus for 1 processor - max 12 cores/processor;
2) VMware vCenter Server 4 Standard for vSphere - includes Orchestrator and
Linked Mode;
3) Platinum Support/Subscription for vCenter Server 4 Standard; and
4) Platinum Support/Subscription for VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus for 1
processor.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 11.104, vendors must be allowed to offer products other than those named by brand if those other products will meet the needs of the government in essentially the same manner.
