Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Gordon intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price award to UNICOM GOVERNMENT SERVICES 15010 CONFERENCE CENTER DR CHANTILIY, VA 20151, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification for the sole source to UNICOM. UNICOM has the service warranty. The equipment is current being used and will be upgraded and provide extended maintenance. There is no available alternative that meets the required specifications. Any work performed by non-authorized personnel will void all warranties and claims on the existing products. The system being used by the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade also has three additional VTC suites. UNICOM has all knowledge as to the topography and design of the VTC suites.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by 28 September 2017 at 1:00pm EST. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. MICC - Fort Gordon will not responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
