This acquisition will be posted on Fedbid.com under Solicitation No. N68335-18-R-0090 as a Brand-Name/Exact Match Only and will be limited to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Honeywell International Inc. (Cage: 99866) and their authorized distributors. This item is used to measure engine and gearbox vibration analysis and perform dynamic propeller balancing on the Rolls Royce T56 engine on the C-130T aircraft. Honeywell International, Inc. is the OEM and is the sole designer and developer of the VXP Vibration Analysis Systems, and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
