The USGS Geology, The US Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for fully found and crewed vessels, with support equipment as specified, to use as a base and for transport for USGS turtle trawling operations within the Gulf of Mexico. It is anticipated that a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded in response to this solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 ¿ Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Task Orders will be issued on a firm-fixed price basis for various analyses under this contract. The not-to-exceed ceiling for this IDIQ contract is $375,000 over a period of performance not-to-exceed five years.
