Travis intends to award a sole source renewal purchase order to Beckman Coulter Inc, Brea, CA for the following: Item Use of (1) ACL Top Coagulation Analyzer, Part# 06080617, Item #2: Use of an advance used Coagulation Analyzer Part# 03020544. Cost include instruments, printers, maintenance, and reagents for performing PT aPPT Testing. Reagents and consumables which include controls and calibrations should be provided for 4,000 tests per month. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and no other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is from 01 Oct 2007 Through 30 Sep 2008. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of funds from which payments for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
