This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. For Geotechnical Investigations: The Scope of Work (SOW) provides the description of services required to provide a hydraulic amphibious track type cargo carrier (marsh buggy) suitable for supporting, mobilizing, and floating a drill rig while obtaining geotechnical information. This solicitation is for rental of one (1) marsh buggy without an operator to be used in Eastern North Carolina. The initial soil borings will be obtained at locations located at the Southern end of Battleship Rd NE, Town Creek NC, within the marshy grass and stream area of Eagle Island.
