A contract is required for the rental of a bucket truck to meet the following specifications:

NON-OVERSTOW PROTECTION SYSTEM, MECHANICAL PLATFORM LEVELING SYSTEM - CHAIN AND ROD, HYDRAULIC PLATFORM TILT, FULL PRESSURE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, MATERIAL HANDLING
SYSTEM WITH HYDRAULIC EXTEND JIB, OUTRIGGER MOTION ALARM, OUTRIGGER BOOM INTERLOCK SYSTEM, BACK-UP ALARM, TWO SETS OF HYDRAULIC TOOL CIRCUITS AT EACH PLATFORM, DIAGNOSTIC PRESSURE TEST QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLINGS, CONTINUOUS ROTATION, HYDRAULIC PLATFORM ROTATORS, EMERGENCY STOP VALVES AT ALL UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL STATIONS, AUTOMATIC UPPER BOOM STOW SYSTEM, ENGINE START/STOP, JIB ADAPTER,
ONE 2-MAN PLATFORM, FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM, PLATFORM LINER, CERTIFACATION OF DIELECTRICAL TESTING.
Bucket truck is required for operations at Naval Air Station Key West, FL.
This procurement will be issued as UNRESTRICTED using SAP and commercial procedures. The resultant
contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The period of performance will be a BASE PERIOD of nine months
with one OPTION PERIOD of an additional nine months. The nine month base period will be considered the
minimum guarantee. The Government reserves the right to return the vehicle at any time after the initial
nine month base period. During the option period, the Government will only be charged for actual time
rented in full month increments. There will also be two other pre-priced options: Delivery of the bucket truck
upon contract award and pickup of the bucket truck upon contract completion.
Solicitation documents will be uploaded to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website and will
become available on or about 24 January 2014.
