This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army National Guard requires the rental of tents and tables and chairs on 09/11/2004. The contractor shall supply tents, tables and chairs delivering them and setting them up at Camp Rell, 38 Smith Street, Niantic, CT 06357. Delivery and set-up should be complete the day before the event. The following items are required: 1 each 100' x 250' pole tent that will be used as a dining area; 2 each 60' x 150' pole tents; 5 each 30' x 60' pole tents; 12 each 10' x 10' frame tents; 340 each 8' banquet tables; 2,700 each folding chairs; delivery; set-up. This procurement will be conducted as a best value source selection. The contractor offering the best value to the government in terms of price and other factors will be selected. The evaluation factors in are as follows: 1. Past Performance as evidenced by recent and relevant similar contracts, provide past performance references with your proposal; 2. Price, the price proposal must be a s detailed as possible. Past performance and price are relatively equal for purposes of evaluation of the proposal.
