This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to lease 26 each portable single person latrines to be utilized in various locations throughout San Diego county and Imperial Valley, CA. A ll quotes must provide pricing for the monthly rental of restrooms to include weekly pump out services, washdown of units, and re-supply of toilet paper & other consumables as applicable. The Government reserves the right to increase the weekly services as needed. Eight of the 26 restrooms must be equipped with handwashing stations / equipment. Portable restrooms will be clean & in excellent condition, free of defects & graffiti. All cracks shall be sealed & door shall be tight fitting, self-closing, & able to be latched from the inside. Each unit shall be vented to the outside. Toilet will be constructed so that the interior receives adequate lighting & all windows & vents shall be screened. Services shall include removal & disposal of human waste & trash i n & around the unit, cleaning of the unit inside & out, repair to the unit, refilling with chemicals, stocking of toilet paper & other consumables. All restrooms must be portable & able to be moved at the convenience of the Government at no additional char ge. Restrooms will be subject to turn-in at any time without the Government incurring any penalties. Contractor is responsible for units that have been blown over by winds / malice within 24 hours of notification. Monthly rental price shall include the ini tial set up & installation. Award will be based on best value to the Government per FAR 52.212-2, best value means the expected outcome of an acquisition that in the Governments estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requireme nt. Award will be determined based on price & the ability to meet the requirements outlined. Contract will be issued for 1 base year & 2 option years. Simplied Acquisition Procedures will be utilized.
