In accordance with VHA Directive 2009-004 and VHA Handbook 1761.1, and the 4/19/2010 DUSHOM (10N) (WebCIMS No. 451818) memo to standardize the leasing of Endoscopes and related equipment, the following VISN3 facilities intend to negotiate with Olympus America, Inc. for a multi-year lease for various endoscopes and associated video systems, light source, and monitors : 1. Northport VAMC 2. ManhattanVAMC 3. Bronx VAMC 4. Montrose VAMC 5. Castle Point VAMC The contract period is expected to run from date of award September 15, 2011 through September 14, 2014 with two (2) one-year option periods. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source in accordance with FAR 8.402(f) and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This procurement is based on the determination that the government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from only one source. The NAICS Code is 339112.
