The Biomedical Engineering Services at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas, has a requirement to obtain non-personal service for software maintenance and system support for the Motek Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) System in accordance with manufacturer's maintenance manuals, specification, and quality control policies and procedures governed by the San Antonio Medical Military Center (SAMMC) Biomedical Engineering Services (BES) and the respective using activity at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The software maintenance and system support is to provide the latest D-Flow Software updates, preventive maintenance, operation verification and certification of the system and it components. The services consist of four phases (overall system Maintenance, project System, platform to/instrumented treadmill/V-gait, and motion base) to include schedule site visits consisting of cleaning, calibrating, lubricating and aligning all mechanical and optical components to include all supplies and inexpensive components.
This requirement will be solicited as a 100% unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System NAICS Code - 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (size standard: $20,50M), SIC - 8900, Repair Services;
shall provide the software maintenance and system support as described in the solicitation for the preventative maintenance and repair for the Motek Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) System.
