Build a continuous heated, illuminated, elevataed walkway from the mid-point of the main parking lot to OP-2.  The walkway shall connect to the 2nd floor of the existing building in close proximity of Rm 2627A hallway.  The transition area included inside the 2nd floor of the existing building walkway shall consist of structural steel frame with concrete on a metal deck with insulated metal enclosure.   The walkway shall consist of turnstiles with access controls, HVAC, lights and sprinklers.  A separte guardhouse shall be located in front of the turnstiles at the parking lot side.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
