A new mechanical grit system capable of processing up to 12MGD peak will be constructed. Two new 65-foot clarifiers will be installed to the west of the existing oxidation ditch. Launder covers will be installed on all four (4) clarifiers to aid in the control of suspended algae solids Additionally, a new sludge handling system will also be constructed. New sludge digestion talks will be constructed. A new Screw Press is to be installed within the new sludge press room, and a new open air 60-foot by 100-foot canopy will be installed for dried sludge storage. As part of this project the demolition of existing sludge and grit systems are to be demolished as per the project plans and specifications. ***SPECS WILL BE AVAILABLE TOMORROW MORNING***
