The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.501) with Getinge USA Incorporated, 1777 E Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York 14623-3133, as the one responsible source that can provide a washer/decontaminator. Specifically, the Getinge Model 88 TURBO must be compatible with the installed base of Getinge washers/decontaminators currently installed in the facility. Getinge USA Incorporated is the only company that can provide a compatible unit. Getinge USA is the sole manufacturer and reseller of the 88 TURBO washer/decontaminator. Specifically, the contractor shall provide: - Getinge Model 88 TURBO (Quantity 2 each, Catalog # 88SDATAVTNEELN) - 88 Turbo Recessed Wall Trim Kit, 1-Side (QTY 2 each, Catalog # KY980472) - Installation & Removal (QTY 2 each, Catalog #17550-IR-88TILA) This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13.501). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
