Notice of Request for Proposals PW2023-16 Sealed bid proposals are invited and will be received by the City of Waukegan, at Public Works 1700 N. McAree Rd., Waukegan IL 60085 until October 3, 2023 at 9:00 am Central Standard Time (CST) for: Water Plant Elevator Replacement This will be made available to all parties desiring to bid. RFP’s will be opened at Public Works, 1700 N. McAree Rd., and Bid Proposals will be due October 3, 2023 at 9:00 am. Bid Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the Bidder and the words: Sealed RFP: October 3, 2023 Water Plant Elevator Replacement Bid Proposals shall be addressed to City of Waukegan, 1700 N. McAree Rd., Waukegan Illinois 60085 and must be received before 9:00 am on October 3, 2023. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a completed, notarized application form and submitted on the enclosed proposal form. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting at the Water Plant will be held by Owner on September 25, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am at 360 E. Seahorse Dr., Waukegan, Illinois 60085. The purpose of the meeting is to review the Scope of the Work and Specifications and allow an opportunity to inspect the Work Site and ask any questions at that time. Attendance by Bidders is mandatory and the City reserves the right to reject Bid Proposals from Bidders who fail to attend.
