This is a Sources Sought and Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a solicitation announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm's ability to submit a proposal if and when a solicitation is issued.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide YSI Brand Water Quality Sondes and Sensors.

Description of Requirement:

The Water Quality Unit requires the purchase of YSI brand water quality sondes and sensors. These monitoring devices support a core mission of the Pittsburgh District and are a central component of water quality monitoring at every site, every time the water quality team conducts field monitoring. Water quality data collected by these units will be utilized to measure biological, physical and chemical parameters, such as real-time water temperature (WT), dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, specific conductivity, turbidity, oxygen-reduction potential, and depth that are used in a variety of applications for assessing the water quality of LRP water bodies.
