AFTC/PZIOA (Eglin) Operational Contracting Division intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for multiple Half-Waveplates for Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL. The contractor shall provide a quote that meets all the Government provided specifications below.

Item 1 (Quantity 17)

Waveplates designed for an odd number of half wave rotations @ 2.04μm, and an integer number of full wave rotations at 4.1μm.

a. AR coated-coating optimized for 2.04μm and 4.1μm radiation at normal incidence
b. Coatings and material damage thresholds must be above 50 W/cm2 average power
c. Mounted for 2 in. diameter optical mounts
d. Clear aperture diameter ≥20mm
e. Surface flatness λ/10 @ 632.8nm
f. Test data showing the products meet the above specifications

Item 2 (Quantity 9)

Waveplates designed for an odd number of half wave rotations @ 4.1μm, and an integer number of full wave rotations at 2.04μm.

a. AR coated-coating optimized for 2.04μm and 4.1μm radiation at normal incidence
b. Coatings and material damage thresholds must be above 50 W/cm2 average power
c. Mounted for 2 in. diameter optical mounts
d. Clear aperture diameter ≥20mm
e. Surface flatness λ/10 @ 632.8nm
