This project will provide critical rehabilitation for the City’s West Trunk sewer line, including the rehabilitation of approximately 6,500 linear feet of 54 to 60-inch diameter trunk line and nine manholes between the Dryden Box and Carpenter Road. This rehabilitation is necessary to address significant deterioration concerns and extend the pipe's operational life. In addition to the West Trunk portion, approximately 3,000 linear feet of 18-inch unlined reinforced concrete pipe will be rehabilitated along with 10 manholes at the City’s Emerald Sewer Trunk. The section of the Emerald Trunk being rehabilitated starts near the intersection of Coldwell Ave and North 9th Street and concludes upstream at West Roseburg Ave and Carver Rd. Additionally, the project includes rehabilitation of the Sutter Outfall Pipeline's critical deterioration and updating the Operational Guidance Model for wastewater treatment processes.
