Purpose: The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a market survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (JPMO-TAS) to identify and demonstrate technology currently available to provide Two-Piece ("run-flat") Wheel Assemblies to support the M777A2 Howitzer. The purpose of the Two-Piece Wheel Assembly is to allow continued mobility of the M777A2 gun even in the event of tire damage or punctures. The vendor must be capable of delivering fully formed assemblies/units.

This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of JPMO-TAS. The intent of this SSN is to identify vendors that have run-flat wheel assemblies capable of meeting M777A2 Two-Piece Wheel Assembly requirements. As a result of this SSN, a Request For Proposal (RFP) may be issued to procure Two-Piece Wheel Assemblies. A full technical data package (TDP) will be released if and when there is follow on procurement activity.
