The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a new sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) IDIQ Contract for Wheel Assemblies in support of the M777A2 LW155 program. This requirement is for a maximum quantity of 660 assemblies to Hutchinson Industries. The Justification & Approval (J&A), addresses duplication costs to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
