The San Isabel National Forest has a requirement for Whitestar CG H2O System Rehab. Work for this project consists of the construction of a new water treatment facility for Whitestar Campground . Items of work include but are not limited to: Removal of existing hydrants and power pedestals, existing pit chlorinator and existing water storage. Excavation of waterline trenches and construction of water treatment building. Installation of new piping and mechanical equipment and connection of proposed waterline to existing waterline. Installation of (2) water hydrants. Organization of upgraded electrical access. Installation of electrical water system controls and (2) RV power pedestals.
SITE VISIT/PRE BID CONFERENCE 14 JULY 2016 @ 12:00 PM (MT) AT THE PROJECT SITE AS SHOWN BELOW.
Project Site: The project is located on the San Isabel National Forest, Directions to the site are as follows: From Buena Vista, travel north on Highway 24. Three miles past Granite, turn west on Highway 82 and continue for 5 miles. Campground is on left .5 miles past Mt. Elbert Power Plant. From Leadville, travel south on Highway 24 for 14 miles; turn west on Highway 82 and continue for 5 miles. Campground is on left .5 miles past Mt. Elbert Power Plant.
Time for Performance: The contract time of 180 calendar days (approx 1 September 2016 thru 1 March 2017).
Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000
Solicitation will be available for download from this website on or about 29 June 2016. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package, changes in the date of the site visit and any other pertinent information including downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and amendments.
Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.204-7 and 52.212-1(k). For those who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/proposal preparation costs.
