The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD is seeking information from potential sources regarding industry technologies applicable to cleaning the exteriors of oxygen systems and equipment such as Liquid Oxygen Converters, Oxygen bottles, Oxygen lines and Oxygen components. The solvent must meet the qualification requirements that are called out in specification SAE ARP1176. The Oxygen Team is seeking a spray type solvent that can be wiped off of oxygen systems and equipment. The solvent can not affect the paint or coating that is on the equipment and must be compatible with oxygen gases. This request is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The NAWCAD is seeking innovative solutions addressing the requirements. Commercial solutions, technical solutions currently in production and/or prototype stages are highly desired.
