The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a Design Builder interested in providing design, construction and fabrication services for WMATA¿s Platform Rehabilitation Program Phase 3 and 4. WMATA will award contracts to separate Design/Build Teams for each phase. Below is a list of stations included in each phase: - Phase 3 will take place in six (6) stations located on the Green and Blue Lines ¿ Arlington Cemetery, West Hyattsville, Prince George¿s Plaza, College Park, Greenbelt, and Addison Road Metrorail Stations. - Phase 4 will take place in five (5) stations located on the Orange Line ¿ New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood & Minnesota Ave Metrorail Stations A Best Value Design Build procurement method will be used to deliver this project with an expected performance period of approximately 15 months (Phase 3) and 24 months (Phase 4) from the issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is about $280M - $450M for each phase.
