The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Deloitte Consulting, LLP of Alexandria, VA to provide services to support the development of rapid response capability to data requests of interest to Chief of Naval Operations and other Navy leadership and to develop a prototype workforce analytics capability that enables workforce optimization for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, VA. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order to commence on or around 01 April 2014 for a period of 3-months with no option periods. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Deloitte Consulting, LLP under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541618. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 25 February 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
