Classes shall cover the following and last a minimum of ninety (90) minutes:
Verbal de-escalation
•1. Indentifying the words to use and the words / phrases / jargon that we should not use during any transition.
•2. Indentifying readily both the non-verbal and verbal warning signs of any possible escalation anger or violence.
•3. Emphasizing the critical importance of sound documentation and communication and follow-up needed throughout the entire process.
•4. Indentifying the right nonverbals and paraverbals to employ and use and how they can de-escalate.
There shall be no deviation from the original scope except as allowed through ANCDF Subcontracts and/or organization as required depending on the changes being recommended.
