This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for BID (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming sole source solicitation.

AFTC/PZIE, Eglin AFB FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order for antennas under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) to Haigh-Farr Inc. The associated NAICS is 334220.  This requirement is for:

CLIN 0001 Telemetry Wraparound Antennas: Total estimated quantity is 90 units. Delivered to: EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 5 months after contract award on a FOB Destination basis.

CLIN 0002: Dual-band Wraparound Antenna:   Total estimated quantity is 25 units. Delivered to: EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 5 months after contract award on a FOB Destination basis.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

The government will consider all responses received by 2:00 PM CST, 20 November 2019. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
