The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) Acquisition Managment Department, Bethesda MD  on behalf of the MIAN OPERATING ROOM will award a sole source procurement to  MEDTRONIC, INC. for medical supplies PROTECTA XT DR, SPRINT QUATTRO, and LEAD CAPSUREFIX.

URGENT REQUIREMENT:
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with onlyu one source under authority of FAR 6.302.  Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements.  This notice is not a request for competitive bids.  A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Award will be made using SAP.  THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS.  Consolidated Appropriation prohibited from contracting with a corporation that has been convicted of a felony in the last 24 months 252.209-7998.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/notice of award for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  Thi s announcment constitutes only the notice of award and written notice of intent WILL NOT BE issued.
