The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda MD on behalf of the MAIN OPERATING ROOM  will award a sole source procurement to MEDTRONIC, INC. for PROTECTA XT CRT-D, ATTAIN ABILITY LEAD 4196, SPRINT QUATTRO SECURE S LEAD 6935.

URGENT REQUIREMENT:
The proposed contract actions is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.  Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements.  This notice is not a request for competitive bids.  A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Award will be made using SAP.  THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT FOR OPEN BIDS.  Consolidated Appropriations prohibited from contracting with a corporation that  has been convicted of a felony in the last 24 months 252.209-7998.
