The Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Main Operating Room at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is issuing this Request for Information (RFI)/Source Sought(SS) as a means of conducting market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors interested and capable of providing supplies/service.

Purpose of RFI/SS

The Main Operating Room at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is seeking information from companies who have the capabilities of providing the following items:

1) CELLULAR BONE MATRIX, SMALL (1CC)

2) CELLULAR BONE MATRIX, MEDIUM(5CC)

3) CELLULAR BONE MATRIX, LARGE (10CC)

The requested item/s is a bone graft substitute, must be injectable and consists of calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, and dematerialized bone matrix (DBM). The bone substitute must be accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB). All donors screening and testing must be carried out in accordance with FDA regulations, American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) guidelines, and all applicable state tissue bank regulations.

PROCEDURES
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/ SOURCES SOUGHT (SS). All reasonable sources may submit a response. A determination made by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any contract that may be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a competitive process. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the RFI/SS. All cost associated with responding to this RFI/SS will be solely at the interested vendor's expense.
