The WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNNMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of the BREAST CARE CENTER has awarded a sole source procurement to MYRIAD GENETICS LABORATORIES for urgent requirements for GENETICS TESTING AND ANALYSIS FOR HEREDITARY CANCER, HEREDITARY BREAST AND OVARIAN CANCER, LYNCH SYNDROME, AND ADENOMATOUS POLYPOSIS SYNDROMES. The contract action is for services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or service providers will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award was made using SAP. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a special notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the notice of award.
