The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a sole-source, contract to WSI Corporation located at 400 Minuteman Road, Andover MA 01810 to acquire 20 seat WSI Pilotbrief Optima bundles. This is a robust airborne planning tool to aid in navigating around hazardous weather (e.g., storms, turbulence, volcanic ash, etc.) domestically and internationally. It provides enroute weather data that overlays the flight route of the aircraft on an interactive map ensuring common situational awareness through every phase of flight.

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work. The contract will result in a firm-fixed price purchase for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
