U.S. GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION The Department of Veterans Affairs is considering award of a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the National Surgery located in Glendale, CO. The current lease is expired. State: CO City: Glendale Delineated Area: North: East Mississippi Ave. East: S. Holly St. South: E. Florida Ave. West: Colorado Ave. Minimum Sq. Ft. (RSF): 4.753 Space Type: Clinical office Parking Spaces (Total): 7 Parking Spaces (Surface): 7 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 120 months Firm Term: 60 months Soft Term: 60 months Option 1 Term: 0 Option 2 Term: 0 Additional Requirements: none Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. The space should not exist within or next to a Floodplain as identified on a DHS Flood Insurance Rate Map. The Government is considering relocating to alternative space, if such a move is determined to be economically advantageous to the Government. In making this determination the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that can potentially satisfy the Government s requirements and the costs likely to be incurred through relocating; physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure and non-productive agency downtime.
