U. S. GOVERNMENTIS COMPETING EXISTING LEASED LOCATION IN ROCKPORT, MAINE Requirement: The United States Government currently occupies approximately 2,250 net usable square feet of contiguous office space and ten (10) parking spaces under a soon to expire lease in February 2006. The Government is considering a competition for alternative office space and will relocate if a consideration of the economics and other factors involved are supportive. The cost of moving, alterations and occupant agency mission, among other items, will be considered in evaluating the alternative. This is an inquiry for available space and is not to be construed as an invitation to bid. There should be an availability of 10 surface parking spaces within a 200 foot radius of leased space. The space will yield a minimum of 2,250 BOMA usable square feet. Space must provide approximately 600SF for storage of a boat . Storage space must be heated. Delineated Area: North: Intersection of Route 1 and Mechanic Street in Camden, West: Route 90 going West through West Rockport heading SW to Warren to intersection of Rte 90 and Rte 1 Atlantic Highway, South: Route 90 in Warren at Intersection with Rte 1 going East through Thomaston, East: Route 1 in Thomaston back North along Route 1 through Rockland to intersection of Rte 1 and Mechanic in Camden. Term: The Government is interested in a lease proposal of five (5) years cancelable after three (3) years. Occupancy: Space must be available by February 28, 2007. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest, including information rental quotes should be submitted in writing to the following address with 15 days: The space must meet requirements for handicapped access in accordance with PL-90-480 and must include all services and utilities. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
