NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USINGOTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division Birmingham, Alabama A Government lease of 2,547 USF of office space is expiring in the Central Business District(CBD) of Birmingham, AL. Alternative space within the CBD will be considered IF the Government can expect to recover relocation costs, duplication of costs, build-out, etc. through the new rental rate. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1) Building Address 2) Rentable/Usable Square Footage and rental rates 3) Method of measurement used to determine Square Footage 4) Brokers without exclusive listing must provide a letter of authorization from the building owner(s) Delineated Area: The space must be located in the Birmingham, Alabama area, bounded within or fronting the following streets: North to 12th St N., West to U.S. Interstate 65, South to 12th St S., East to U.S. Highway 280. Other considerations: Offerors should consider the costs for relocation, telecommunications and tenant improvements as well as the capability of providing alternate/backup power for the computer data center. Required: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy: The space is required on or before August 1, 2007.
