Alternative space within the CBD will be considered IF the Government can expect to recover relocation costs, duplication of costs, build-out, etc. through the new rental rate. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1) Building Address 2) Rentable/Usable Square Footage and rental rates 3) Method of measurement used to determine Square Footage 4) Brokers without exclusive listing must provide a letter of authorization from the building owner(s) Delineated Area: The space must be located in the Birmingham, Alabama area, bounded within or fronting the following streets: North to 12th St N., West to U.S. Interstate 65, South to 12th St S., East to U.S. Highway 280. Other considerations: Offerors should consider the costs for relocation, telecommunications and tenant improvements as well as the capability of providing alternate/backup power for the computer data center.
