The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to negotiate with Olympia Entertainment for use of the Masonic Temple in Detroit for a proposed concert event for veterans on February 12, 2011. The proposed action is for the use of the facility and the provision of services to facilitate a concert for area veterans. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This procurement is based on the determination that the government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by the venue in question. __________ This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
