THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY NOR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS REQUEST. THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
PROJECT NO. 632-08-128, RENOVATE PATHOLOGY LABORATORY, BLDG. NO. 200 at the Northport VA Medical Center, Northport, NY.
The Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for replacement of existing roof as required by drawings and specifications. Renovation of existing space located at the first floor of the main hospital building as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items.
The contract completion time is 365 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
This contract does not involve VA sensitive information and contractor personnel do not require access to VA systems. Information made available to the contractor or subcontractor by VA for the performance or administration of this contract or information developed by the contractor/subcontractor in performance or administration of the contract shall be used only for those purposes and shall not be used in any other way without the prior written agreement of VA.
This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB). Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Proposals will only be accepted from SDVOSBs that are determined to be responsible and responsive contractors. Prospective contractors must be approved under NAICS Code 236220, size standard of $15.0 Million. The cost range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
A bid bond will be required, and performance and payment bonds will be required upon award of contract. The solicitation will be released on or around July 30th, 2017. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website as well.
