The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, equipment, material, transportation, and supplies required to provide and install access control items (i.e. vehicle spikes, arm gates, steel bollards, access control point cover, guard shack, and speed bumps) at a Colombian Military Base in Barranquilla, Colombia - United States Military Group (USMILGP - CO).
Pre-solicitation Synopsis
The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement to design, construct, and install an access control system at a Colombian Military Base in Barranquilla, Colombia - United States Military Group (USMILGP - CO). This construction project is in the country of Colombia, and all projects shall abide by Colombian laws. By submitting a proposal the Contractor shall guarantee that they have everything in place to complete the project to satisfaction. All equipment, materials, labor, licenses, warranties, and insurances are the responsibility of the contractor. The Contractor will also be responsible for all shipping and customs clearance for any materials imported into Colombia. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The ESTIMATED solicitation posting on ASFI/FBO and the U.S. Embassy - Bogota contracting website will be 20 March 2012.
