The Department of Air Force is seeking qualified entities for a long term ground lease opportunity at Beale Air Force Base. The objective of this project is to develop approximately 334 acres located at the southwestern portion of Beale AFB. The assets available for lease include a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on approximately 19 acres, an approximately 218-acre Rail Accessible Development Opportunity, and an approximately 97-acre Light Industrial Site. The project shall maximize the value of the Enhanced Use Lease assets within the constraints and restrictions identified by the Air Force, while developing a successful, long-term, and mutually beneficial business relationship with the Air Force. The Air Force Real Property Agency will be conducting a Site Visit/Industry Forum to provide more details about this opportunity on April 9, 2008.The Site Visit/Industry Forum will allow interested parties to receive pertinent information on the project concept, the EUL process, and an opportunity to visit the actual site.
