This acquisition is for inspecting, cleaning, and lining the interior of tank BMT-4 at the SPR Bryan Mound Facility. The lining work shall include the entire tank bottom, part of the interior shell, deck leg supports, dispersal unit and its supports and roof structural support, and some piping inside the tank shell. This is an unrestricted (full and open) procurement. The NAICS code is 238990. The construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1 million. The SOL will be issued on or about September 3, 2003. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at the Bryan Mound site at 10:00 am on 9/16/03. All information related to this procurement will be posted through the DOE Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS) website at http://e-center.doe.gov. This website will be the sole distribution medium for the solicitation and will be used to provide acquisition information, including the solicitation, any amendments, questions and answers, and pre-bid conference minutes.
