This is a Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notice. The final solicitation package will follow.

This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, has a design/build requirement to replace boardwalks at the Atkins Waterfowl Production Area, Tea, SD (Lincoln County). This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation and FAR 36.3 – Two-Phase Design-Build selection procedures. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and award will be evaluated on a Best Value - Tradeoff basis.

The complete Solicitation will be posted to https://sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about January 30, 2024. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications.

Any pre-proposal site visits will be announced with the solicitation.

The NAICS code is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $45 million. The project magnitude will be between $250,000.00 and $400,000.00.

The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP) and be completed within 180 calendar days from the date NTP is issued.

Bonding Requirements: 20% Bid Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond.
