Presolicitation Notice: Bureau of Land Management - Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) Emigrant Creek Road Resurfacing
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) anticipates the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or around January 30, 2023, for road resurfacing type construction work. The estimated magnitude of this work is estimated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This RFP shall be 100% set aside for service disabled Veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) under NAICS 237310 and size standard $39.5 Million. The work includes: 1. Subgrade preparation of approximately 6 miles on Emigrant Creek road which includes: grading and reshaping of road subgrades and scarifying potholes to a depth of 6 inches (areas where large cobble cannot be scarified or bladed may be avoided); end hauling excess waste material to designated areas; watering and compacting subgrade; as well as cleaning 9 cattleguards, cleaning catchbasins and outlets at 47 culvert locations to maintain and fix any drainage issues; reestablishing and opening ditches; and correcting drainage patterns and road side brushing at 6 feet each side and a height of 14 feet; 2. Aggregate surfacing of approximately 5.98 miles on Emigrant Creek Road which includes: loading, hauling, placing, watering, grading, and compacting crushed aggregate to a depth of 6 inches on a 16 feet wide average prepared roadbed including turnouts, approaches, and curve widening. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Work under this contract is located in Jackson County, Oregon, for the Ashland Field Office of the BLM Medford District.
